Dressing Room Mayhem: Skipping the Dreaded line

Why try on stuff in the dressing room when you can try things outside? There are usually lines of people at almost every store you go to when you shop! Its funny sometimes... seeing all of the people groaning about the wait in line to the dressing rooms. Last weekend we went to nordstrom rack and the line was maybe 20+ people, wanting to try on items their items that were considered to be outer garments (such as a coat or vest). Heres a tip to speeding up your shopping experience:

(Tip for ladies and possibly guys)
1) Wear Leggings/tights as your "bottom" (preferably not too sheer)
2) If outerwear is needed because of cold weather, make sure that it is easy to take off quickly
3) A plain tube/tank top (preferably a fitted shirt)
4) Grab everything you might want at the first go to save time (don't try one thing on and then look through racks after, because you know you'll find something after to try on).
5) Rush to the closest mirror with a nearby rack/space to put your clothes on after/during your try on period

It might look funny to try on skirts and dresses because when you take them off you look like your stripping but trust me, if you aren't afraid of people looking at you struggling in & out of your clothes, then this is a major time saver.

Happy shopping =).

Hooves and Hidden Platforms -

My love atm.

That's 2000 =)
Now gasp in fear and awe

Wanna guess how much these babies were?

I'll give you a hint:
Less than $100

Fashion Project 1: Revitalizing Vintage/Old Clothing

Finished this top months ago but finally had the courage to post pics.
First "design" ever in my life. =)
(I just made the dandelion/applique)
Isn't this Anthropologie/ J.Crew like?

This knit top used to have this white/fluffy peplum that i had attached but i decided to take it off since it looked too kiddish =P.

Dare to be labelled a shopaholic... an ongoing decision and rant

I love shopping too much. i look online everyday!
I was debating whether or not i should do posts on my thoughts and current likes/dislikes atm in fashion, but there are no followers ;P and i'm not sure if there are repeat or internet savvy fashionistas who check my blog religiously. ;P.

Not that it matters but sometimes this feels like a diary. I started this so that i could possibly meet others who are as enthusiastic about fashion as me! I thought to myself, isn't there some type of huge forum where fashion crazed people can unite and exchange their deepest desires and thoughts? I believe so... but they are for the elite: insiders of the fashion industry.

Now that doesn't mean I can't post my ideas here. I can definitely push out some fun findings but passerbys are inevitable and this blog wasn't made just for me to skim over, it's for the whole world to see.

Just hopefully in the near future, someone can comment or post their thoughts.

..and that would be enough for me to keep my will of obsessing over fashion, alive.

Reason for title of Blogpost:
My mother labelled me a shopaholic, not in a good way either =P.

Who thinks that being a shopaholic isn't a bad thing? - me

Forever 21 Miu Miu Knockoffs! (Daisy Print)

Finally back from an unexpected hiatus. I just had to post a blog (and a some more after this one) about a great find!

Decided to check out forever21's online site for once and lo and behold, there is something i want from there! Forever21 came out with these "inspired by/Knockoffs" mary janes in black, polka dot print, and daisy print
Price was around $25! I was kind of iffy at first whether or not to buy the shoes because the only picture that i saw online was of the polka dot pair and it reminded me too much of a pinupgirl type of shoe =/. After reading nitrolicious (love you guys) and refinery29, i wanted to check out the daisy print

3 days after their posts, they sold out online!

Phoned my mom after finding out that the shoes sold out and told her to check if there was a daisy print in stock at her forever21.

There was 1 left. ;).

Heres a pic of the original Miu Miu pumps:

Forever 21:
Daisy Print

They seem to run a tad bit big in length but other than that they were a steal!

I suggest that if you really want these go to your local xxi because when I phoned them, they weren't of much help at all and they told em that they didn't have any >..>.
Run because these will if not already be sold out in stores!

GL ladies and check out my blog and my new posts!
